This week I worked on my first (of four or five) drawings of the views outside of my window. I started off by drawing the window structure, which took a lot more time than it should have, and then moved on to block out the most important objects in the scene. This first scene is the snowy landscape outside of my workspace window and I was actually lucky to draw completely observationally today, as I got a lovely blanket of snow at my house. I also took a picture of the snowscape, so if it melts too much, I still have a good idea of how much the snow weighs down the branches and sits upon the bushes.
